PVN received notification that the gas valve needs to be replaced on Tuesday November 29th starting at 8:00am. This will affect the whole PVN property.
“Our technicians attempted to perform a routine gas meter change on meter #848002 located at 7998 MISSION CENTER CT, SAN DIEGO (BCH). We are required by the California Public Utilities Commission to maintain our gas meters within state required code by proactively changing equipment so as to not result in a service failure. This allows us to provide safe and reliable gas service to all customers. Our technicians have advised that due to the obsolete regs and the need to replace the outlet valve, this meter set will need to be shut down and rebuilt and we would like to coordinate an appointment to complete the maintenance work needed. In addition to rebuilding the meter set, we will need you, the customer, to have a licensed contractor or plumber to repair ACOR on H/L. This work can take about 4-6 hours to complete, and we will coordinate the equipment relights with our Customer Service Field department to be completed after the repairs are made.” SDGE
This means there will be no hot water during this time and gas grills will be unavailable.
