Orchid Tree Donation for the Community
Neighbors came together tonight to support the community. An Olive Tree had been removed behind building 7932 a few years back. Today it was replaced by a generous donation made by Jason Raba and Maria Pecoraro. Jason dug this seedling out of a flowerbed, put it in a pot and cultivated it for several year to get it to this size. It takes time, dedication, and commitment to grow a tree this size and is no small feat. This is why nurseries charge $350-$500 for a tree of this size. The community appreciates your contribution. Thank you!

Greg Warnock and Daren Jaeger helped dig out the hole and helped stake it properly. When planting trees and shrubs the hole should always be dug twice as wide and deep as the plant being added. This allows the new plant to take hold without the competition of other plants.

Note: if homeowners want to add additional plants, please join the landscape committee so all planting is done with the approval of the board.
