The laundry rooms are one of our vulnerable areas where improved lighting can help improve security. Last month we upgraded the lighting on Laundry Room 1. Today CPI installed upgraded lighting on Laundry Room 2.

When people know they are lit up and can be identified it makes them go elsewhere. Most crimes are of opportunity. Lighting removes that opportunity.

It is also important to note that the wattage is decreased with the use of LED light but greatly improves the lumens (brightness). It is also 33% cheaper to replace a fluorescent bulb with and LED bulb that fits a standard bulb socket.

The other two Laundry Rooms are slated for upgrade in the coming months.
