Members should by now have received a mailing from The Ballot Box requesting Candidate Applications for the Upcoming Election for the Board of Directors. An image of the mailer is provided below. Please keep in might that your candidate applications must be received by December 8th 2023 at noon to be valid. The board strongly suggests the use of email to submit your registration, especially if you will be doing so close to December 8th. This will avoid any possible issues with USPS, and will allow you to confirm receipt of out form with the Election Monitor.

The seats up for election are those currently held by:

• Mike Danner
• Daren Jaeger
• Maria Filippov

As an additional note, Daren Jaeger, Member-at-Large, has informed the President of the Board of his intention to resign from the board at the end of our upcoming November 28th meeting. The board will therefore need to appoint an interim member for the months until the February election. This would be an excellent opportunity for members interested in running in February’s election to experience the day-to-day operations of being a Board Member in this community. Those wishing to be considered should submit all credentials to Brianna Ardent at Pernicano, the association manager, so the board can consider them. Appointment of a new member would occur at the start of open session at December’s meeting, and the term would last until a successful election can be completed.
